In plain language: what BC10 Workspace keeps, where, and why.
Where your data lives
Your account lives in your BC10 ID. Your notes, tasks, budget and focus lists live in the BC10 Notes, Budget and Focus services, the same ones the BC10 apps on your phone and on the web use. Workspace is another way to reach them; it does not send your data anywhere else.
What stays on your PC
- An offline copy of your notes, tasks and budget, so you can work without a connection.
- Sign-in tokens, protected with Windows Data Protection (DPAPI) so only your Windows account can read them.
- A few settings, such as which section you had open.
Your password is used only to sign in and is never saved. Signing out wipes the offline copy and the tokens from this PC.
What we don’t do
- No tracking, no analytics and no ads, in the app or on this website.
- No selling or sharing of your data.
- Workspace never blocks websites or reads your browsing. Blocking is done by the BC10 Focus app, if you install it.
Updates
To check for updates, the app asks this website for the latest version number. That request carries no account information.
